Hong Kong Park, summer

I went to take photos of plants found in the Hong Kong Park .... before uni started in September. It was absolutely hot on the day i went with my high school classmate ... i wasn't too sure why I had all the energy to walk in the shopping malls afterwards. Am wondering when my Saturdays won't be as awful as they are now, my mooting is paralyzing my Saturday afternoons all the time.

Fireworks on National Day, TST, Hong Kong

This was my first time to take fireworks with my DSLR ... perhaps you have preconceived ideas of what they ought to be, in particular, they colour and shapes. I would say photographing fireworks is unnecessarily a 'tense' activity giving you all the nerves to hold onto the 'B' button (long or short ) for the correct exposure and desired composition. So with that experimental heart, I decided to fool around with the light tracks they offered and came to this set of abstract forms of lights. Well, you may criticise them as being very unprofessional ... but photography should afterall be giving people surprises to some conventional subject matters. Anyway, enjoy the surprises!
